Aurelie Garant



Dr. Garant is a radiation oncologist specializing in genitourinary and gastrointestinal cancer care. She earned her medical doctorate for Laval University in Quebec City in 2012, and subsequently completed her residency training in radiation oncology at McGill University in Montreal in 2017. Subsequently, she pursued advanced radiation oncology fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester in 2018, focusing on complex abdomino-pelvic tumors, recurrent cancers, and specialized techniques, which include brachytherapy, proton therapy and intraoperative radiotherapy. She received a certificate for focused competency in brachytherapy from the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in 2020. Her interests include patient reported outcomes, machine learning integration in healthcare, and personalized adaptive radiotherapy research.
