Joanna obtained her M.Sc. degree in Immunology at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM), where she worked on understanding immune cell interactions to improve cancer immunotherapy. She is currently working on measuring the relative biological effectiveness of different radiation qualities for human rectal cancer cell lines.
