Nada Tomic

Bio

Nada Tomic finished the Medical Physics program at McGill University and received MSc at the Montreal Neurological Institute working on Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging. She completed her CAMPEP accredited medical physics residency program at McGill University and obtained the CCPM Membership and CCPM Fellowship accreditation.

She is working as a Clinical Medical Physicist at the Jewish General Hospital and as a instructor at Medical Physics Unit.

Her research interests include PET and Computed Tomography (CT), Cone Beam CT imaging as part of the Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), development of radiobiology setups in radiation therapy, GafChromic film dosimetry for low energy photon beams, and low energy photon beam dosimetry for electronic brachy therapy.
